The industry has, rightly, in the past had a bad press with regard to the accuracy of the information on site. Issues with regard to a meters location, existence, serial number, meter type and site and readings have al led to billing and AQ issues.

When Energy Assets takes over the management of the gas metering asset, all this information is cleansed as part of the service. Old meters are replaced with the latest SMART enabled meters allowing customers the opportunity to track their energy consumption even from their home via a web portal.

All the records of the assets are recorded via remote hand held devices which feed live through the company’s verification and auditing software before they are included on the asset register. From there their maintenance is controlled, planned and tracked to ensure not only safe operation, but compliance with the current industry standards.
