The isolation of the gas supply to a premise by use of the ECV and sealing in the “off” position, and by removal or capping of the meter installation. Energy Assets  manage the co-ordination of site visits with the client and the client’s representatives as well as EAL’s meter installation partners, all of which are Ofgem Accredited Meter Installers (OAMI’s).

Any removed meter will normally be removed from the site and be made available to its owner in accordance with MAMCoP requirements, unless there are physical constraints preventing this. Removal or alteration of downstream pipework can be undertaken by prior arrangement.

EAL will manage the provision of all required data to the relevant industry parties.
