New Management Team at Energy Assets

Energy Assets has restructured their existing management team to meet the future needs of the business, recent contract successes and growth opportunities in the sector.

The restructure took place in January 2011 following the decision of Alan McKeating to leave the business.

Phil Bellamy-Lee

Phil Bellamy-Lee assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Energy Assets, prior to establishing Energy Assets together with Alan McKeating, Phil worked for Invensys, UGI and Bryan Donkin.

 

Russell Gibson COO

Russell Gibson is the Chief Operations Officer (COO) for both businesses, having worked for the Fusion Group and British Gas Group of Companies prior to joining Energy Assets.

 

John McMorrow CFOA new appointment to the senior management team is John McMorrow. As Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Energy Assets group of companies, John has a direct responsibility for the IT team and their key role of delivering the digital platforms which differentiate Energy Assets within its sector. Prior to joining Energy Assets, John was with the Murray Group.

CEO Phil Bellamy-Lee and COO Russell Gibson have both been with the Energy Assets business since its inception and have substantial track records within the gas industry. Commenting on the changes, Phil Bellamy-Lee, CEO of Energy Assets said

“Alan was a successful Managing Director, charting our course for the past 5 years through start-up and the subsequent purchase by Macquarie. He left the company in a very strong position with a great team in place, an excellent product and an infrastructure that stand us apart from our competition.

Energy Assets will continue this growth by ensuring continued customer satisfaction underpins our entire operations. I am pleased to be joined by Russell Gibson in his expanded capacity and to have John McMorrow join the team as CFO. Our combined aim is to keep Energy Assets moving forward in 2011 and beyond.”

Other Management Changes

Keith AndersonKeith Anderson now assumes the role of Head of Asset Integrity, Keith will manage the team of Technical Support Managers to co-ordinate and implement meter works in accordance with current national and company standards. Keith has 29 years of operational management, design and consulting in the gas and petrochemical industry working in the Uk and internationally. Experience gained in organisations such as British Gas, National Grid and BP, Shell and Petronas .

 

Ben MulcahyBen Mulcahy is now Head of Sales for Energy Assets, responsible for communications and contractual agreements with current and new clients.Encompassing service delivery and reporting to customers ensuring specified requirements are met, Ben will lead the Account Management and Key Accounts teams in the delivery of these requisites. Ben has 16 years experience within the gas industry,primarily at gas suppliers.

 

Alan BrownAlan Brown has been appointed Head of Operations, having responsibility for the process and operational functions within EAL. Alan will have a hands-on role in meeting both customer/client and business needs with regard to management of data flow and supply chain management which will see Alan more involved with supplier relationships. Alan has been in the gas industry for 28 years , before joining Energy assets Alan worked for Scottish Gas, Kennedy Utility Management and Alfred McAlpine.

 

Eilidh CameronEilidh Cameron is now Head of HR & Compliance for the Energy Assets Group responsible for developing, promoting and leading the compliance function. Her role is to educate the business to fully understand compliance and advise, guide and manage processes incorporating the management of people and other areas such as operational risk, health and safety installer compliance. Eilidh has 8 years experience in the Gas Industry predominantly in a contractor environment.
