As a leading member of the ASPCoP (AMR Service Providers Code of Practice) EA is audited annually to ensure delivery and systems meets their exacting standards.
In late December Energy Assets through its AMR brand Pulse 24 took part in an ASPCoP audit. ASPCoP is a Code of Practice that defines the operations, standards and methods by which metered gas consumption data is read and supplied to customers, energy suppliers or other parties. As the AMR industry evolves, to maintain minimum installation and data quality and continuity in the hazardous area of utility metering, there is a need to develop industry standards and codes of practice - hence ASPCoP.
The audit was successful and the company passed the audit requirements. Eilidh Cameron Head Of HR & Compliance for Energy Assets said
"As we have developed and grown our own AMR side of the business it is important for us to maintain this accreditation to give reassurance to our clients and customers. I am pleased to say that we passed this audit"
