WORK RESTRICTIONS LONDON 2012 OLYMPIC AND PARALMYPIC GAMES

London 2012 will be one of the most memorable events ever to happen in the UK. The Olympic and Paralympic Games will be a massive challenge in terms of resource and organisational requirements.
An area of concern is ensuring that athletes, officials and spectators can move around London easily. To this end an Olympic Route Network
(ORN) and Paralympic Route Network (PRN) will be in place (further info is available from www.london2012.com/orn).
These are designated routes for Olympic and Paralympic traffic to ease their progress across the capital. As a result it is the unlikely permits will be granted to undertake non emergency infrastructure work where it entails street works on or around the designated routes.
Restrictions are already in place now. Full implementation will commence on 1st March 2012 through to 30th September 2012.
How does this affect my gas supply?
If your business is in the vicinity of the ORN/PRN and you will require a gas connection or meter exchange in 2012 please make us aware as soon possible so we can plan to work around the restrictions in place.
