Senior Technical Engineer

We are looking to recruit an additional Senior Technical Engineer in the Siteworks area of our business. This role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to join a vibrant growing business and develop their gas engineering knowledge across the complete gas supply chain.

The successful candidate should have a minimum of 2 years supervisory / managerial experience within a technical environment and experience of operating performance frameworks that enable the delivery of technical solutions.

They must have awareness of appropriate legislation i.e. Gas Act, NRSWA, HSAWA, CDM, Gas Safety Installation & Use Regulations, along with a sound working knowledge of relevant IGE publications, codes of practice, engineering Instructions and policies & procedures and an understanding of legal requirements relating to design and quotation activities i.e. GIG/2

Preferably, the candidate would be an Incorporated Engineer IENG and hold NVQ Level 4 in GIRS Design but this is not essential.

We are looking for a highly motivated and capable individual, with previous experience in a similar role who is looking to broaden their career.  You must have a real appetite for this challenging role in a dynamic and expanding company.

 The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate integrity and trust. They must be used to managing third party resources to ensure ongoing provision of a quality service and previous experience of working within a customer facing environment and performance management of others to meet customer needs

Additionally, the individuals should have good attention to detail, must be IT literate and hold a current full driving licence. This role can be based anywhere in the UK but must be willing to travel to our Head Office frequently.
