“Near enough every problem we have with these buildings is due to their age and history and some of the walls are over 15 inches thick. We have installed an Automated Meter Reading system via Pulse 24. Linked with the upgrades we’ve had carried out on our building management system, we are hoping to see improvements in energy consumption, somewhere between 25 and 28%”

"We currently have AMR units installed across a variety of properties in the county. Their installation was a quick and painless process. The units not only provide accurate meter readings but they have also highlighted where boiler plants have been operating at night and weekends when the buildings are closed. Site investigations have revealed that heating controls were either set incorrectly or had gone faulty. These have subsequently been reset or replaced providing cost savings and reducing the Council’s carbon footprint.

As we are more than pleased with the gas AMR’s and they have proven to be an effective tool in driving down gas consumption, more units are being installed across our property portfolio"
