Summary of role
We currently have a vacancy within our Birstall office for an Assistant Utility Planner to join the team on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule & manage works for multi skilled engineers for gas, water and electric domestic housing sites, ensuring customer dates are met in line with KPI’s.
- Ensure all approvals are in place for works to be undertaken, Streetworks Notices and Safe Control of Operations.
- Liaise with developers to take work requests, plan and confirm requirements.
- Ensure that all issued documentation is returned for works completed.
- Raising purchase orders for material requests & arrange delivery in line with programme requirements.
Person Specifications
To be considered for this role you will be a self-motivated individual with at least 1-2 years previous administration experience ideally within a planning function. You will demonstrate excellent organisational skills and have the ability to communicate at all levels across the business.
