Summary of role

To prepare, configure and deploy Energy Assets systems for internal and external solutions to the agreed requirements, while providing high quality 1st and 2nd line support services to both internal & external end-users.

To manage, monitor, and maintain the application environments including back end data centre and cloud based services. To work with the development team to provide testing and other support services to ensure the quality and smooth implementation and running of all services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide high quality 1st & 2nd line support for Energy Assets providing services to existing and new clients and liaising with the development team as necessary
2. Manage devices and other hardware leased to clients as part of their solution
3. Provide minor & major roll-out and the migration of new software releases to in-house infrastructure and major App Stores
4. Manage, monitor, maintain, and support Energy Assets central application portal and related data centre infrastructure
5. Prepare, configure & deploy Energy Assets software systems to meet the agreed specification & requirements
6. Carry out support services to the required standards, monitoring and ensuring that agreed SLA’s are met

1. Exceptional analysis, technical & problem solving skills
2. The ability to communicate effectively at all levels including with external IT staff and application end-users
3. Ability to take ownership of issues and be focused on delivering the best possible service to clients
4. Ability to maintain the highest quality of work at all times
5. Ability to prioritise and work within defined SLA’s
6. Highly motivated with the desire and ability to take ownership of issues
7. Must demonstrate a willingness to embrace new technologies and develop new skills


  •  3+ years’ experience implementation & support services role
  • Experience with enterprise systems & support services
  • Experience supporting back-end, data centre and cloud based solutions
  • Experience working to SLA’s
  • SQL Server 2008+

  • IIS 7+
  • Advanced MS Excel use
  • .Net and based systems


  • Degree level qualification in IT or numeric based subject

Salary dependent upon qualifications and location.
