COVID-19 – An Update from Energy Assets Group

In line with our established COVID-Secure protocols, Energy Assets Group has carefully considered the latest guidance and legal obligations issued through the devolved administrations of the United Kingdom (January 4, 2021).

As always, the safety of our people, our customers, our supply partners and the wider community remains paramount, and where possible our team will continue to work from home, enabled by technology and supported by our comprehensive staff health and wellbeing strategy.

We will of course continue to monitor the situation carefully, but for now and in line with government guidance covering construction and critical infrastructure, our utility network construction and metering services will continue to operate in step with our robust COVID-Secure protocols.

These operating principles have been rigorously risk assessed against all relevant standards and are framed to safeguard our people and the wider community while ensuring the continuation of utility network and metering programmes and the provision of essential electricity and gas network connections to front-line services and those who are most vulnerable.

These remain challenging times for everyone, and while there may be some cause for optimism through the vaccination roll-out, be assured that businesses within the Energy Assets Group will continue to uphold the highest professional, operational, ethical and safety standards until such time as restrictions can be relaxed.

Thank you for your support.
