Energy Assets were the Platinum Sponsor for the IGEM (Institution of Gas Engineers & Managers) Scottish Section Annual Dinner Dance for 2019. On Friday 13th September 2019, Energy Assets employees and partners attended the celebrations with esteemed colleagues and members from across the gas industry for a night of networking and fundraising.
Energy Assets were proud to sponsor the evening, which was a success for all in attendance as well as the two chosen charities for the evening; Alzheimer’s Scotland and Epilepsy Scotland.
Scott MacGregor, Infrastructure Quality Manager, and Stuart McLeod, Policy Engineer, at Energy Assets are accredited engineers by IGEM as well as IGEM Scottish Section Deputy Vice-chair and Vice-chair respectively. Between them they led the organisation for the evening for all attendees and directed the Energy Assets involvement on the night. Their actions helped to promote Energy Assets in our professional space, as well as ensuring that a good time was had by all.
The evening saw attendees dine and dance through the night and then take to the pop-up casino with play money for some no-risk fun. A raffle was also drawn with all monetary proceeds going to the chosen charities of the night.
IGEM serve a wide range of professionals across the UK and the international gas industry through membership, events and a comprehensive set of Technical Standards.
Energy Assets actively seeks to support events like this and functions where it can.
