The company, the country’s leading independent metering services provider, has developed a simple, low-maintenance and cost-effective smart metering system that uses a zigBee radio network to collect real-time electricity, gas and water consumption data automatically for each individual pitch, berth or holiday home.
In addition, the web-based system enables each utility service to be remotely shut down during periods of inactivity - for example to match seasonal requirements – and switched on again when needed, bringing a new level of control to utility management for owners and site managers.
The smart metering system automatically collects and transmits consumption data for each selected utility using metering technology developed by Energy Assets and proven in the field across many thousands of industrial and commercial applications. This ensures accurate billing, and enables owners to monitor consumption and set alarms to identify energy leakage and energy inefficiency…all achieved via Energy Assets’ WebAnalyser portal.

Energy Assets will be demonstrating its leisure sector smart metering and control technology on Stand No.1964 at Holiday Park & Resort Innovation. The company sees application opportunities across caravan parks, marinas, holiday homes and other seasonal accommodation.
The zigBee-based system can be retrofitted alongside existing park and resort infrastructure or can be installed in new build developments. It is fully expandable to work with one, two, or all three utilities, and comes as a single box solution that is easy to install and simple to use through an intuitive software platform. Gas and water service shut-down and switch-on is achieved through valve technology controlled by system software.
