Apprenticeships allow Energy Assets to expand our workforce and create a pipeline of skilled employees for the future.
We have been running our Apprenticeship Scheme for three years as part of our overall plan to support our industry and young people. We provide hands-on training giving Apprentices a real chance to put their skills into practice helping them to gain more confidence in a working environment.

As we begin 2021, we currently have 25 live Apprentices across our business and another 4 currently being recruited for. This is positive news. We are delighted that, despite COVID-19 and the impact on many businesses and industries, we can continue to welcome and support new Apprentices.
Our programmes vary in length, from 12-24 months. To date, we have signed off 12 Apprentices as permanent employees of Energy Assets. Thanks to our scheme we have placed youngsters in various roles throughout our business including Data Administration, IT Support, Store Warehouse and Utility Networks.
As an employer of choice, we are constantly looking to improve the Apprenticeship experience for both our Apprentices and for our business as a whole. We will continue to work closely with our programme providers, as well as monitor and seek feedback from our Managers and the Apprentices themselves.
As an organisation we are taking a more sustainable approach using Apprentices to consider and address skill gaps and ways to shape the workforce of the future to support our growth aspirations and deliver against our customer promise. We look forward to supporting our new Apprentices throughout 2021 and beyond.
