Energy Assets Utilities – Focused on Energising Britain’s Utility Networks

Energy Assets Utilities harnesses the combined expertise of Blyth Utilities and Energy Assets Siteworks gas design and project management service to create a new force in gas, electricity and water utility network provision for housebuilders and industrial and commercial markets.

Colin LynchEnergy Assets Utilities is led by Colin Lynch, formerly managing director of Blyth, who sees significant growth opportunities opening up for the service across Britain as a result of being part of leading multi-utility network and metering services group Energy Assets.

“With our GIRS, NERS and WIRS accreditations, we are ideally positioned not just to serve our existing customer base but to grow our service provision though a network of offices that includes Alva and Livingston in Scotland and Darwen, Sheffield and Mansfield in England,” commented Colin Lynch.

Energy Assets Utilities is currently delivering over 1,000 projects each month, from straightforward meter installations to complex multi-utility network design and construction on sites ranging from hospitals and schools to residential developments and major industrial and commercial complexes.

“Energy Assets Utilities brings together Blyth and Siteworks’ technical and project management skills that have been fundamental to the winning of a growing number of high value, high profile projects. Most notably, our innovation in digital systems is enabling us to respond rapidly to customer enquiries, to share project progress in real time and to deliver projects in a fast and cost-effective way.”

All this is facilitated by a nationwide team of directly-employed gas, electricity and water engineers.

“In short, we are ready to meet the increasingly sophisticated multi-utility network requirements of industry and commerce and to provide expert support to the housebuilding sector at the time of significant additional investment in new homes across the UK.”
