Steven Lynch takes the reins as MD at EAU (Scotland)

Steven Lynch has been appointed to the position of Managing Director of Energy Assets Utilities (Scotland) to support the continued growth and development of the business.

Steven joined the Energy Assets Group in December 2015 with the acquisition of Blyth Utilities – a utility network construction company he co-founded with his brother Colin – and is now moving from the position of Commercial Director of Energy Assets Utilities to Managing Director in Scotland. Colin was recently named Chief Executive Officer of Energy Assets Group.

In his new role, Steven will be applying the knowledge and expertise he has acquired over a 23 year career in multi-utility network construction to drive the business forward.

Steven lives on the outskirts of Alloa and is married with three children. Outside of work he is a keen golfer, follows football, enjoys reading and listening to music.

Retailers across Britain are turning to Artificial Intelligence (AI) to help transform their energy efficiency, improve their carbon footprint and reduce their operating costs.

Over a three-month trial led by AMRdna, an Energy Assets service, the Central England Co-operativeproject generated a 206% return on investment by identifying and eradicating energy waste and implementing evidence-based efficiency strategies.

Energy Assets Champions Safety In The Gas Industry

At Energy Assets we are committed to protecting our people, customers and the environment. Safety is of paramount importance. On Thursday 24th October, employees from Energy Assets attended a gas safety event hosted by the IGEM Scottish Section.

The event, held in Glasgow at the Teledyne Gas Measurement Instrument (GMI) factory, saw gas industry experts from across Scotland, and even from the USA, come together for an innovative and hands-on tour filled with demonstrations surrounding the topic of gas detection and safety.
