Energy Assets Answers DIY SOS CallThe BBC’s flagship renovation programme, DIY SOS, enlisted the support of npower and Energy Assets for a special Children in Need programme broadcast yesterday (November 13).
With a little help from Energy Assets’ engineers, host Nick Knowles and his team of DIY enthusiasts, experts and local helpers, turned a parish building in Blackburn into safe accommodation for the area’s young homeless.

EAU (Scotland) Invests in Stirling Base as Springboard for GrowthEnergy Assets Utilities (EAU), one of Britain’s leading utility network construction companies, has invested in a new base in Scotland to support its expansion plans.
The company has moved from Alva to a modern facility on the Springkerse Industrial Estate in Stirling, providing much improved facilities for over 100 office staff and field-based operatives working for EAU (Scotland).

Energy Assets Champions Safety In The Gas IndustryAt Energy Assets we are committed to protecting our people, customers and the environment. Safety is of paramount importance. On Thursday 24th October, employees from Energy Assets attended a gas safety event hosted by the IGEM Scottish Section.
The event, held in Glasgow at the Teledyne Gas Measurement Instrument (GMI) factory, saw gas industry experts from across Scotland, and even from the USA, come together for an innovative and hands-on tour filled with demonstrations surrounding the topic of gas detection and safety.

Gemma Energises her Career by DesignFrom administration clerk to project coordinator and onto trainee gas network designer…Gemma Forrest’s career at Energy Assets is really taking off, thanks to her skill and determination - and the supportive culture of the company.
Gemma, based in Livingston, has just passed her second module on the road to achieving Gas Industry Registration Scheme (GIRS) accreditation and now has just two more stages to go to realise her ambition of becoming a qualified designer. She is currently working as a site co-ordinator for the gas design team and has certainly come a long way since she started with the company in an administrative role.

Energy Assets Networks Provides Valuable Training for ICP’sOn September 10th 2019 Energy Assets Networks held an all-day event in Leeds for G98 & G99 Policy training for Independent Connection Providers (ICPs) within the industry to update their knowledge. It also provided the 14 attendees an opportunity to ask experts any questions regarding new regulations and policies in real-time.
The G98 & G99 Policies cover technical engineering requirement policies including operations, network specific implementation and compliance.

Energy Assets Powers Meter Installation Expertise at New Training CentreEnergy Assets has unveiled a state-of-the-art training centre at Darwen, Lancashire, to provide its 60-strong team of meter engineers with one of the energy industry’s most advanced learning environments.
The investment in the new centre provides engineers with access to every type of physical meter configuration they are likely to encounter in industrial and commercial buildings, along with a ‘classroom’ space featuring interactive touchscreen technology with self-guided ‘drag and drop’ capability.
