Berkley Homes award One Tower Bridge project to us

Berkeley Homes appointed us to design and build the infrastructure solution for the project.

Programme

The mixed-use development at One Tower Bridge, in the London Borough of Southwark, was a large-scale project for Berkeley Homes. Southwark Council granted the company planning permission to build 406 flats, 13 small commercial premises, two large commercial sites and establish 20 landlord supplies on the sought-after riverside site.

We provided an interesting design and programme which allowed the client to have the substations constructed above the basement car park.

Our solution

Berkeley Homes appointed us to design and build the infrastructure solution for the project. This involved a load of 3,141kVA and connection to an 11kv network, as well as liaising with the IDNO, ESP Electricity. In addition to this, we provided a 1000kVA temporary building supply to deliver power to the site while the main grid connections were being installed.
