Introducing Energy Assets (EA) Heat Networks

We’re excited to announce the launch of EA Heat Networks. A solution to reduce the costs and carbon output of residential or mixed use I&C developments, while achieving compliance in line with the Government’s Future Homes Standards.

About EA Heat Networks

Our heat networks will provide heat centrally from an Indirect Emissions System (IES) hybrid energy centre and distribute it efficiently through an insulated pipe network to each building in your development. This results in cost and emission savings as there’s no requirement for individual boilers, heat pumps, or other renewable energy sources for each building.

While heat networks are a growing innovation in the UK, they’ve been providing efficient, reliable and affordable heating for decades in Europe. We bring over 20 years of utilities expertise to this market and have further secured our foothold by taking a controlling interest in Bero Energy Solutions, a firm that’s been well established in heat networks since 2020. With our heat networks, you’ll have the assurance that our experience enables us to fully anticipate and meet the complex needs of any project.

You’ll future proof your build for your customers’ piece of mind. Our heat networks have a long life span – plus, the energy source used is flexible to adapt to any future advancement in the energy market or, desire to change due to energy pricing. In addition, as the developer, you’ll have the confidence that our heat networks are scalable, should your site grow over time.

Planning and implementation will be seamless, due to the breadth of our experience, EA Heat Networks is a full turnkey end-to-end, fully project managed solution. From legals, land rights, consultancy and design, to build, operation, metering, billing and performance monitoring. Getting in touch and resolving queries will be easy as EA Heat Networks will take ownership of the energy centre, pipework and meters from cradle to grave. You’ll have a dedicated single point of contact and once your development’s finished, your end customer will benefit from the convenience and assurance of a 24/7 number -covering both network infrastructure and energy usage queries in one place.

Energy Assets (EA) Heat Networks to power one of Scotland’s premier environmentally sustainable residential developments

Bangour Village is a c.£500m development, set to be one of Scotland’s premier environmentally sustainable residential sites. Domestic heating and hot water will be provided to over 800 Bangour Village residents directly from a new, fit for the future, low carbon energy centre and district heat network owned and operated by EA Heat Networks.
