Rapid Response For Fast Food Outlet

Rapid Response For Fast Food Outlet

Restaurant was back in operation within two hours…

Programme

Energy Assets Group had recently taken over the role of MOP (Meter Operator) for a portfolio of meters on behalf of an energy supplier when a fast-food shop reported a power outage.

An EA engineer was immediately despatched and was able to identify the problem and quickly exchange the legacy meter with an advanced AMR-enabled meter. At the same time, the engineer balanced the load appropriately across the 3 phase supply – correcting the excessive load on one phase that had caused the original problem.

Now the restaurant owners are not only assured of a more reliable operating environment, they also benefit from remote monitoring of meter performance and automatic meter reading.

Outcome

As part of its service commitment, Energy Assets aims to get businesses back on supply inside a three hour window – in this case, the restaurant was back in operation within two hours.

A proven track record

Back in operation after 2 hours.

The engineer balanced the load appropriately across the 3 phase supply – correcting the excessive load on one phase that had caused the original problem.

100% fix of the excessive load issue.
